Japanese Flower
Arranging
The delicate art of Ikebana arranging can be so
rewarding, stimulating and
therapeutic. Introductory classes are being held
for beginners who wish to understand the basics in
Ikebana. You will be inspired to use your creative
flare combined with bringing "the emergence of life" to
an arrangement. Upon completion of the classes you
will be aware of basic dimensions and proportions of
techniques used in creating simplistic and stunning
arrangements. You will need to bring along to the
first class the following: ˇ Secateurs ˇ Shallow
container 10-12" - 25-30 cm ˇ Pin holders (available
for sale) Duration: 3 weeks 7.00 - 8.00pm

| Mambourin Charity Golf
Day |
On May 5th Mambourin Enterprises held the FMD
Financial Mambourin Charity Golf Day at Sanctuary Lakes
Resort.
Mambourin provides day
programs for over 180 people with disability and
supported employment for 60 people with disability at
sites in Werribee (including a Sensory Garden, Café,
Bookshop and Nursery) Werribee South (Packaging &
Assembly), Altona and Sunshine. There is also a
work crew in Melton and at the Laverton RAAF
Base.

Sanctuary Lakes Golf Club
is a major supporter of the event and Members were also
very supportive with many arranging teams for the day
and assisted in running the event ensuring the day went
smoothly.
Mambourin would like to thank
the many prize donors and everyone who participated in
making the day a success both socially and financially.
The $15,000 raised will be used to enrich the lives of
people with a disability.
Teams have
already registered for 2009 and Mambourin is
seeking
a Naming Rights sponsor and hole sponsors. To find out

Great Success |
|
The Initial meeting of the
Sanctuary Lakes Resort Business Network was a great
success with twenty businesses being represented
including IT consultants, public speakers, investment
services, an entertainer, financial advisors,
optometrist, chiropractor, mortgage broker, cooking
teacher, business consultant, photographer, fundraising
consultant, tour operator, and an artificial grass
company in attendance.
